Observation:
I observed this eclipse from my suburban backyard. By
approx 17:50 local time the moon had risen over the houses and fence line
to the east. By 18:20 it had risen high enough for me to pick up the
moon in my telescope and take a few pictures.
Just before 19:00 the clouds had rolled in and it
started to rain so I hauled all my stuff inside. By about 20:30 the
skies cleared and I observed the last stages through my
binoculars.
