Deepsky at my cousins farm in Kalannie, a wheatbelt town approx 3 hours north-east of Perth - 23rd to 26th October 2000.

Venus setting in the west near the head of Scorpio (the red star being Antares)	The brilliant dust clouds of the Milky Way in Sagittarius setting in the west.	A really beautiful shot of the South Celestial Pole over the lights of Kalannie some 15kms away. The pointers are over the town. The red glow to the right is from a car some distance away.
A quick shot showing the Jupiter and Saturn and the head of Taurus. Jupiter is the brightest object in the photo just below the Hyades.	Same as before except a longer trail.	Quick shot of Orion.

Orion setting in the north-west.	Another shot of Orion with a faint plane trail in the shot. Around this time was the Orionid meteor shower so I was hoping to catch some meteors.
