Centenary of Flight flyby posted Wed 10th December 2003 at 23:10 by stuart An interesting event this Saturday is a massive cavalcade of aircraft making a flyby of Perth. Apparently over 200 aircraft will be flying at just 700 feet above the Swan River from Pt Walter to the city. The action starts at Cockburn Sound between 2pm to 3pm where the aircraft will form up then make their way down the river. Qantas, Singapore Airlines and Virgin Blue are reportedly trying to get some large aircraft to take part. More information is in this West Australian article.
