Partial Solar Eclipse Nov 24th
posted Thu 20th November 2003 at 09:55 by stuart
AstronomyOn Monday morning in Perth (the 24th), we will awake to a partial solar eclipse. The eclipse is actually a total eclipse, but only a narrow groundtrack near the Antarctic will see this.

From Perth, sunrise is 5:05am and the sun will already be partially eclipsed. Mid-eclipse will be 05:40am with 60% of the sun covered. The eclipse ends at 06:28am. Remember to view the sun through safe equipment!
